Relative
Time is transient, the born one
Will disappear quickly…

Starred dark dome of endless space creates the ordered Universe and its original ornament. Sacral essence of ornament is integral to oriental culture. Embroidered suzane, carved columns and stucco expose vegetative ornament reflecting nature and geometrical ornament – ghirih symbolizing the universe. These ornaments bear deep information that is handed down from generation to generation. In a course of time this information is being deformed and usually obtains just utilitarian sense. However, these patterns are not so simple and each time they move to thinking.
Monochromic Fergana tyubeteika came into existence within essentially polychromic oriental culture. Its black-and-white color catches our attention and forces to think – why? The ideas of pepper or almond pictures immediately go away as it seems easier to embroider them in color and let a man enjoy the ornament of blossoming almond or red-green pepper on his head. What sense do these patterns have? In his day Hazrat Ali noted that sacred books have four levels: exoteric – accessible to everyone; esoteric – clear to adepts; mystic and revealing agency of Providence. At first sight, tyubeteika’s ornament can be associated with a pheasant wing or tulip petal as well as with almond or pepper. Nevertheless, it is difficult to accept the idea that a man in the patriarchal east could agree to have such banal ornament on his head – a point of contact with the universe.
Let’s go further to reveal the sacral sense that ancient people attributed to tyubeteika. Museums of Uzbekistan have many samples of tyubeteika. The earliest of them date from the second half of the 19th century. Today tyubeteika is an attribute of costume, but informative patterns go far back in history. The universe arouse about 15 billion years ago from fire sphere. In the 1970s Stephan W Hawking (1) aspired to answer a question: What happens with matter by singularity – a point with infinite density and zero volume, which, according to theory of relativity, is in a center of black hole wherefrom the universe arouse. As it happens, the universe is described by the same levels as a black hole. A black hole has so high concentration of matter that its gravitation does not let loose even light. Nothing inside a black hole can influence the external world while external objects can get into it. If to imagine that a black piece of tyubeteika is a black hole where the universe shortens to point and at the same arises from it, we can assume that a head is a carrier of infinite information.
We amaze at dome stalactites of medieval architecture – they give sculptural picture of the starred sky! Each detail of tyubeteika is essential. Tyubeteika has four parts – interesting is that just four elements of nucleotide were used for construction of molecules transmitting a genetic code. Symmetry of ornament moves us to recollect words of great Beruni: “Human spirit is very sensitive to everything symmetric and ordered as a person is the integral part of nature and he can communicate and exist only within symmetry and material structures”.
Now, having defined borders of a black hole and symmetry, we can turn exactly to ornament of tyubeteika. Here is a citation from Old Testament: “The God told: We are creating a man in our own similitude…” It comes to human structure, order and mind but not to appearance. The universe is infinite information. When we want to create something, we invent nothing new but just open our mind to take information. In fact scientists discovered the laws which actually already existed in the nature.
Having studied four basic signs on the top of Margilan tyubeteika and compared them with one-month human embryo, we can say that tyubeteika represents a knot of energy and definite hologram of Universe. This is a birth of light and embryo carrying information on Evolution. This is a knot of negentropy (negentropy – information on equivalent of negative entropy – measure of energy dispersion and increase of chaos in all forms. – G. Koriolis, 1845).
It seemed possible to make a legend associated tyubeteika patterns and birth of the universe, except for Namangan tyubeteika which ornament indicates to three-month human embryo! The lower part of Kokand tyubeteika has 16 symbols going circle-wise, by four on each side. At first sight, this pattern is abstract as all elements are identical and might remind hills. However, Chust tyubeteika illuminate unclear pattern about eternal circulation. Chinese texts of the 2nd century B.C. informed on it. Even earlier, in the 4th century B.C., Greek philosopher Eudemus Rhodian told to pupils: “If to believe Pythagoreans, some time I’ll talk again to you, with the same stick in hands and everything will turn back”. Eternal circulation is ciphered in four ornaments on each side which are not identical, i.e. two arches – small, and two – big.
A small arch reflects beshik – a cradle. Embroidered dots above the cradle indicate to a baby in the cradle sending light. A big arch is also beshik, but for a person who has left this world. The dots inside the cradle show dying light of the dead. The universe is extending and shortening, arousing and dying. The universe will again come to some initial point. A new cycle will begin with next “great explosion”. New galaxies and constellations will arise. Calculations of English astronomer Devis correspond to the idea of “Pulsing Universe”. It is curious that Universe of Devis has the closed lines of time. In other words, time goes circle-wise. That means endless number of births and deaths the universe survives. Democritus and Pythagoras wrote about “Great year” of the universe when it burns in space fire and again revives. So, we can assume that tyubeteika exposes infinite number of births and deaths we survives while alive…
