Dmitry Novakov was born in 1970 in Novosibirsk. In 1992 he graduated from the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute named after Nizami. Being a student, he took part in caricature competition “Spinner” in Moscow. He worked as a teacher at school and as a designer at architecture department of the Turkish construction company “Ai – Sel”.
In 2002 he became a member of the Association of Artists at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. Many works of D. Novakov are in private collections of USA, Australia, SAR, Germany, England and the other countries.
In 2003 Dmitry won the prize “The Citation” and was awarded a medal at the competition “The Yomiuri International Cartoon Contest” Section in Japan. Dmitry Novakov was a participant of many republican and foreign exhibitions, including:
1999 – personal exhibition at the Yesenin’s Museum.
2000 – exhibition “Open house”, Georgia (USA).
2001 – republican exhibition “Nature and Artist”.
2001 – 2002 – International competition “Bolognafiere” (Bologna, Italy) for the most beautiful illustration to child books.
2002 – exhibition of graphics “Art – Synthesis”.
2002 – personal exhibition at the clinic of A. Nazarov.
2002 – exhibition “Aquarelle, drawing” at the Center of Modern Art.
2003 – exhibition “Plastics of the moment”.
